It's crazy to think that there are countries where people are fighting with everything they have to win the right to vote, and here many of us don't even drag ourselves out to cast ours. That's something I like to focus on, too. Even if life isn't going your way, there are still so, so many things to be thankful for. I adored your list!

A love what you said about waking up in the morning and being thankful instead of complaining. I think that's a wonderful way to look at being thankful. You can't be thankful for everything, but you can always find something to be grateful for. I never thought of it that way! Today I am thankful for the fact that Christmas is going to sneak up on us sooner than we think. I can't wait to see my Grandma and Grandpa, eat and bake Christmas cookies, tramp through the snow, and celebrate Jesus's birthday. I am also thankful for the fact that I can listen to Christmas music anytime I want to. Hence, why I have been listening to Christmas music for a month now. Yes, I know I am crazy. :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620960568844915525.post-27636357682628085842015-10-13T13:29:57.675-05:002015-10-13T13:29:57.675-05:00Happy (belated) Thanksgiving! It's so true that remembering the good things God has given you, however small, makes the hard stuff that much easier to bear. Hope your October is filled with friends and laughter and good books and the smell of coffee brewing. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620960568844915525.post-37005659523241799192015-10-13T11:46:53.139-05:002015-10-13T11:46:53.139-05:00I did, thank you! I did have my best friend, and my Aunt and Uncle though, and they made no less than four pies when they found out how much I love pie. So I guess I am thankful for God, Family, Friends, and of course Pie!
:DSkye Hofferthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02385765274513034927noreply@blogger.com
